ICPM Awards JMU Scholarship to Josh Winks for 2013-2014


Photo of Josh WinksIn fulfillment of its continuing commitment to introduce high achieving business students to the benefits of management certification, the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) has awarded an academic scholarship for the 2013-2014 academic school year to James Madison University senior Josh Winks. The ICPM Scholarship is awarded annually to the top management student in the JMU College of Business and partially funds tuition for the fall and spring semesters.

Josh has already begun to develop his management skills through responsibilities afforded him at the Hill City Swim and Tennis Club in Lynchburg, Va.  He has exhibited leadership potential as a Senior Patrol Leader of Boy Scout Troop 48 and leader of his COB 300 business plan team.  Josh has a current GPA of 3.83 in his coursework at JMU and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB international.

Josh will graduate in May 2014 with a BBA degree in Management with a concentration in Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, as well as a minor in Economics.

ICPM is a business center of the JMU College of Business. It advances managerial excellence worldwide through management and leadership development and the Certified Manager® (CM) certification which validates managerial competency.
