Three members of the faculty in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry have been honored with college, university and state-wide awards!
Gina MacDonald is a 2015 SCHEV Outstanding Faculty Award nominee. The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) administers these awards and describes them as follows: The Outstanding Faculty Awards are the Commonwealth's highest honor for faculty at Virginia's public and private colleges and universities. These awards recognize superior accomplishments in teaching, research, and public service. Congratulations Dr. MacDonald!
Debbie Warnaar is the 2015 General Education Distinguished Teaching Award recipient. The general education program selects one faculty member each year in recognition of "superlative achievement in the area of General Education teaching." Congratulations Dr. Warnaar!
Kevin Caran is the 2014-2015 College of Science and Mathematics Distinguished Teaching Award recipient. The College of Science and Mathematics "honors one faculty member annually for exemplary teaching." Congratulations Dr. Caran!
