W. Dean Cocking Graduate Scholarship Established

The W. Dean Cocking Scholarship Endowment for Summer Ecological Research in Graduate Biology was established in March 2017 by retired JMU biology professor Emily B. Branscome ('78) in honor of Dr. Cocking's role in her graduate studies. The annual scholarship supports an outstanding graduate biology student who is working with a faculty mentor on ecological research during the summer months.
