Think green and discuss environmental stewardship at Friday forum
An open forum on environmental stewardship and sustainability will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 in Room 2210 of the Health and Human Services building on the JMU campus east of Interstate 81.
The forum is the second "Think Green, It's Friday" event of the fall semester and is sponsored by the JMU Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to come with questions and ideas about sustainability. The forum is one of several campus events being held in conjunction with Campus Sustainability Day, which is observed nationwide on October 24.
The "Think Green, It's Friday" series was started to raise awareness at JMU about ways to conduct environmentally sustainable lives and how to better the community.
The event is free and open to the public.
