Does Washington beckon?

The JMU Washington Semester, which allows students to get a head start on their careers by living and working in Washington, D.C., is accepting applications for the fall 2013 and spring 2014 programs.

There are several ways to acquire information about the program. Students may attend an informational meeting Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 2176 of Miller Hall.

A blog maintained by fall 2013 students is available at http://jmuwsfall12.blogspot.com/ and the program's website is at http://www.jmu.edu/polisci/washington.html.

Dr. David Jones, program director and professor of political science, may be contacted at jones3da@jmu.edu.

The application deadline for early decision is Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2012, while the deadline for regular admissions is Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2013.
