Laura Schubert consults with students and faculty on all kinds of writing, and she teaches for the School of Writing, Rhetoric & Technical Communication. She has experience teaching English Language Learners and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Composition and TESOL. Her most recent project is a first-year writing textbook, co-authored with Kurt Schick, titled So What? The Writer's Argument. She conducts research on writing center assessment, writing fellows programs, and the intersections between teaching and tutoring.
