2018 Research Forum Event Details

What is the Strategic Leadership Research Forum?

The Research Forum is the JMU School of Strategic Leadership's annual event that showcases the dissertation research of alumni and current student research! Alumni present their dissertation research and findings to the Strategic Leadership Community. This year, current students will also be showcasing their research in a poster session. Poster presenters will be announced February 8th!

When? Friday February 23rd 4:30pm-8:00pm

Where? Lakeview Hall 1104 (Street Address 298 Port Republic Road)

Poster Submission Information

The deadline for submitting abstracts for the 2018 Leadership Forum is January 31, 2018. To submit your work for presentation to the Leadership Forum:

  • Speak to your advisor about participating in the forum and gain his or her approval for the submission.
  • Prepare a one-page abstract with a maximum of 500 words including your name and presentation title at the top of the page.
  • Save the file as a MS Word document.  Files should be single-spaced and use Times New Roman 12 point font.
  • Submit your abstract to Margaret F. Sloan at sloanmf@jmu.edu with “SSLS forum submission” in the subject line no later than 5 p.m. on January 31, 2018.
