Dr. Robert Aguirre is an English professor and Dean of the College of Arts and Letters. He is an interdisciplinary literary scholar focusing on transnationalism, material culture, and the study of mobilities. Aguirre has published numerous essays on museum studies, travel literature, expeditionary photography, and US Latinx literature as well as three books (listed below). He currently serves on the Library of Virginia's Board.
