If you test positive for COVID-19

If you test positive for COVID-19, please follow these steps:

Step 1- Visit the CDC quarantine and isolation site for isolation instructions and follow accordingly.

Step 2- Self-report your status to Human Resources by completing the online self-report form. If you do not have access to a computer please call 540-568-3593.

Step 3- Contact your supervisor to inform them of your status. Employees should use eligible leave currently available to cover any absences related to COVID-19 illness. If you have questions, please contact the HR Leave Specialist Reagan Neese.

COVID - 19 Policy Guidance

Virginia's Department of Human Resources Management (DHRM) has announced the expiration of the temporary emergency benefit, Public Health Emergency Leave (PHEL) effective May 31, 2022. PHEL will no longer be available to employees to use for medical needs and illness related to positive cases of COVID-19.
