The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is a student organization that serves as a liaison between the University Health Center and the JMU student body. SHAC members represent the student voice for Health Center operations, and assist in making student-focused decisions. There are many benefits in becoming a member of SHAC:

  • Opportunity to help influence programs and services that have a direct impact on JMU students
  • You, your peers and/or your organization has a voice in UHC operations
  • Great experience, especially for students seeking a career in health care, communications and/or marketing

For Fall 2019, we will meet every other Friday from 11 a.m. - noon in the Student Success Center 1311 (The Well conference room). Dates are:
