Extensive review of the textbook literature and curricular design, study of contrasting theoretical and cognitive approaches, classroom observations, practice teaching and follow-up discussions suitable to undergraduate instruction. Prerequisite(s): MUS 601  or MUS 702  or permission of instructor.
