Grand Challenges in the Use of Visualization

The 2015 Gordon Conference on Visualization in Science and Education will continue a tradition of bringing together diverse communities of persons engaged in the production, study and application of visualizations to enhance and promote scientific understanding. The over-arching theme for the 2015 conference is Grand Challenges in the Use of Visualization in Science and Education. More information about the conference can be found using the tabs on the left hand side of the page.

We will once again offer workshops prior to the conference on assessment and cutting edge visualization technology (vPython). Click the workshop tab at left for more information and an application form. We have also secured funding to support a number of cross-disciplinary mini-grants to help build new collaborations. We’re grateful to NASA and NOAA for support for the conference and the workshops.

The Gordon Research Conference site can be accessed here.
