Description: Doing your work well won't get you more opportunities. Being the person who is able to work well with what others provide them. Yes, you want to love your work and do it really well, but Adam Grant, Wharton's highest rated professor, provides the basis for this workshop where you learn about what the three roles are (giver, taker, matcher), assess yourself for them, and identify what you can do to become more successful through the giver role.

Learning Objectives:

  • Address the difference between the roles of giver, taker, and matcher
  • Address the pros and cons of each role
  • Address how givers become the most successful compared to the matchers and takers
  • Address the ways to become the best version of Giver while avoiding burnout
