Description:

Those who put serving others over self often have more personal and professional satisfaction and success. In this workshop drawn from books and research, including "Dare to Serve" by Cheryl Bachelder who applied servant leadership to save the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen enterprise, we will share ideas, including why spotlight leadership fails, and identify ways to apply the principles of human dignity, personal responsibility, and humility to your work life.

Objectives:

  • Understand why leaders benefit from adopting the servant leader attitude with others
  • Become knowledgewable of the skills and values a servant leader embodies
  • Be able to list the dare-to-serve leaders three core beliefs
