Eat, Drink, and Be Mindful (TD2532)

Relationships can be complicated...including those involving food. Eat, Drink, and Be Mindful is a workshop designed to introduce participants to the concept of mindful eating. Based off the MB-EAT (Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training) program created by Dr. Jean Kristeller, this modified workshop will introduce participants to mindful eating via meditation, body awareness, and practice. Come with an open mind, and leave your self-judgement behind. No experience with meditation is needed.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the definition of mindfulness
  • Experience body awareness via gentle chair yoga
  • Experience mindfulness meditation
  • Learn the definition of Inner and Outer Wisdom
  • Experience mindful eating via various food related meditations: taste, fullness, and satiety
