Extreme Couponing (TD2045)

Tue, 23 May 2017 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Location:  Wine-Price Building

Description:  Have you ever heard the phrase, "another day, another dollar?"  We like to think of it as, "another day, another deal!"  Come learn how to stretch your hard earned money in this beginner coupon workshop.  From food, to personal products, to even appliances and clothes, there is a way to pay less for brand name items and goods.  We will begin by discussing what couponing is and how it differs from the popular media's perception of couponing, and then jump into the logistics of how couponing works.  With as little as an hour a week, learn how to help save your family real money.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to:

  • Recognize what ethical couponing is and how it can help save money
  • Identify at least three places where coupons from which coupons can be gathered
  • Apply at least two organization strategies to your coupon stockpile
  • Investigate how to match circulars, sales ads, and blogs for maximum savings
  • Practice at least one beginner scenario
