Game On: Personal Power Plays (TD2167)

Tue, 21 Feb 2017 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

We can all benefit from a little more play in our day. Please join us for an energizing workshop that will help you "up" your gaming skills to create new awareness. By practicing specific, small tasks you can increase your personal power while reducing stress. We will be identifying a work related challenge and then taking quests to build resilience in four key areas so that you can be ready for whatever comes your way in a busy day. Gaming experience is not required, but we bet you have some gaming in your past (schoolyard, board games, sports, video, or app) that you can use to enjoy your work more! This workshop is based on the book SuperBetter by Jane McGonigal.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Identify a work related challenge
  • Learn Quests that build Physical, Mental, Emotional and Social Resilience
  • Increase awareness of Personal Power
  • Build better relationships in and outside of this workshop
