CIS / SMAD Super Bowl 2016

Sat, 10 Dec 2016 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

CIS SMAD Super Bowl

All are welcome to attend the final presentation event (known in the College of Business as the “CIS Super Bowl”) for the SMAD408/CIS484 final projects.

The final 2 teams in this competitive client-based group project will present their UX designs and systems. The winning team will be chosen by a panel of judges comprised of faculty, the client (Evergreen Consulting), and industry professionals. This is the second semester that SMAD and CIS collaborated for this project. Groups were formed with 4 CIS students and 2 SMAD students per team. Each team developed their take on a social network system to link investors, mentors, and entrepreneurial startups. CIS developed the back-end functionality of a system (database design and implementation) and SMAD developed the front-end aesthetics and user experience.

Join us for presentations that demonstration of the power of collaboration between the two different approaches to systems development.

It's free and open to the public, and is a wonderful study break.

Date: December 10, 2016

Time: 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m.
