Entrepreneur Express Workshop

Thu, 30 Mar 2017 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

You are invited to attend the Entrepreneur Express Workshop at the Frontier Culture Museum Lecture Hall on Thursday, March 30th, at 8:30 AM.

This free workshop will provide you with key business tools you need to move your business forward.

There will be an introduction to the Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity and the services it provides.

The Director of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center will highlight an excellent business tool it uses—Growth Wheel—to help you make decisions and create a plan of action for business growth and development.

Every business needs a business plan. Unfortunately, many don’t have one! This workshop will provide a discussion of why you need a business plan and also the tools you need to develop a plan that’s right for your business.

How you market your product or service is vital to growing your business. You may have the best product / service available, but if you don’t market it properly, you won’t realize sales growth as quickly as you could. This workshop will show you how you can effectively and efficiently market your business to increase sales.

Knowledge about sources of capital is critical whether you need to access capital today, tomorrow, or never! This workshop will help you understand the capital resources available to your business at various stages of the business life cycle. This combination of interactive discussions promises to provide key elements to help you grow your business.

Attendance is fee, but registration is required.
