The John C. Wells Planetarium at James Madison University, a one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art, hybrid facitlity, will resume its FREE Satuday public shows beginning September 6.

Due to high demand, a new family show has been added at 11 a.m.! For September, the Family shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. will feature Sesame Street's One World One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure. Our Family shows at 2:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. will be In Search of Our Cosmic Origins. Following each full dome video presentation, we will raise our incredible Goto Chronos starball and highlight the Valley sky! We will discuss the planets, stars and constellations you can see at this time of the year in your backyard at night! Weather permitting, our solar telescopes will be set-up outside near the JMU Sundial to provide visitors with incredible views of our star, the Sun!

All shows are FREE! No tickets, no reservations, all seats are first-come, first-seated! Please join us!
