After more than a year of pandemic work, JMU will be back to in-person operation this fall. After transitioning to online in spring 2020, instructional faculty will now transition to in-person. What does this mean for our work—will we just go back to normal? What considerations will we need to keep in mind? What challenges may we be facing? What do we need to do to support our students? What surprises do we need to be prepared for? This panel session invites participants to a conversation with a group of JMU faculty and administrators who bring varying perspectives and areas of expertise to the table.

This roundtable is intended for JMU faculty only.

Panelists:

Faculty participants will make progress toward this program outcome:

  • Preparing themselves for the uncertainties connected to an in-person fall semester.

Faculty participants will make progress toward this career planning outcome:

  • Developing and fostering productive mentoring and networking relationships.

We want this program to be welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all of our participants. Please describe any considerations (e.g., disability, wellness, cultural, etc.) you want us to know about in the registration survey. You may also reach out to us personally at Tiffany Runion, runiontt@jmu.edu or (540)568-4858.
