JMU’s New Faculty Academy After Six Years (Scholarly Talk)

In 2015, the first cohort was welcomed into JMU’s New Faculty Academy, an innovative program that combines career planning workshops with one-on-one mentoring. Six cohorts later, including one that was entirely online, this talk presents the results of a comprehensive survey of the first four cohorts as well as experiences from a pandemic year.

Faculty participants will make progress toward:

  • Understanding the structure, role, and outcomes of JMU’s New Faculty Academy.
