Grading Break Conversation: Research During and After the COVID-19 Pandemic (Online Roundtable)

Fri, 8 May 2020 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Take a break from grading and join your colleagues for a conversation on a topic that matters, too. Following the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic, faculty have concerns about strategies to adopt, and support to fall back on for their research. Grants have been cancelled or withdrawn, faculty development funding and other support have been put on hold, opportunities are no longer forthcoming from funding agencies, and travel bans impact negatively on those whose research are continental and international. Even local projects are not immune to such dents. Projects are hanging in the balance or are frozen for indeterminable period of time. Given these scenarios, we invite faculty to this roundtable conversation to explore strategies and solutions to rise above these challenges.
