Professional grant development involves finding grants and mastering techniques for preparing, writing, and winning grants from various funding agencies.  Join this community of faculty, in various stages of the grant proposal process, to advance a project.  This Madison Fellowship is a self-directed community focused on mentorship, connecting with campus resources, and mutual accountability.  Participants will share their individual needs and define the group focus for the semester. Participants will meet twice a month this spring.  After the first meeting, the group will reach out to appropriate JMU campus entities, such as the JMU Office of Research and Scholarship, to get their needs met.  The group could also choose to use the time to focus on writing grant proposals.  Newcomer participants will be joining a faculty community that met in the fall on this topic.
