Deadline extended for the Finish Your Writing Project (Faculty Community)

Group will meet on alternating Wednesdays; 02/21/2018, 03/14/2018, 03/28/2018, 04/11/2018 and 04/25/2018 from 12:30-3:30 PM in SSC room 4049.

Commit weekly time to your scholarly projects in a sustained and supportive writing group.  This facilitated scholarship community offers faculty a space to: develop collaborative support with fellow writers; advance in a writing project plan; dedicate consistent time to writing and editing; brainstorm around challenges; and celebrate successes together. Whether working on a manuscript, book project, or other scholarly project, this experience will help scholars move toward project completion in a collaborative writing group. Participants will commit to being present for five 3-hour meetings (2/21, 3/14, 3/28, 4/11 and 4/25) and will also have the opportunity to write collectively either in-person or via Google hangout (or a similar virtual meeting tool) on alternate Wednesdays. 

Faculty participants will make progress toward these program outcomes:

  • Advancing a scholarly writing project, and
  • Building a faculty writing community.

Faculty participants will make progress toward enhancing scholarly productivity.
