Individual scholarly productivity will be fostered through participation in a writing community that encourages and supports the cultivation and completion of writing projects over summer break. This facilitated scholarship community offers faculty a space to: develop a scholarly writer’s profile; create a writing project plan; participate in guided peer review of drafts; dedicate time to writing and editing; and celebrate success. Whether working on a manuscript, book project, or other writing project, this experience will help scholars move toward project completion.  Participants need to commit to being present for five 3.5-hour meetings either in-person or via Google hangout or a similar virtual meeting tool. Participants can choose to do a combination of virtual and in-person meetings.
