The three artists in this exhibition have the medium of photography in common, yet their approaches range from scanning negatives exposed in handmade cameras, posting and capturing images in Instagram feeds, or combining found objects with photographs.
What else do these three artists have in common? Although they were here at non-overlapping time periods and had different thesis advisors, they all earned their MFA in Studio Art from JMU with a concentration in photography: Jennifer Mace, '03, Steve Zapton; Daniel Robinson, '08, Rebecca Silberman; Jason Anderson, '12, Corinne Diop.
