How do I register for classes?
Workshop registration begins the morning of Friday, May 6th in MyMadison!
Unless otherwise indicatated, pre-registration via MyMadison is REQUIRED to participate in all events. Search for classes using "JAD" in the course number search. How do I register for workshops?
UREC Guided Tours

UREC will be hosting tours on Employee Appreciation Day! Learn about UREC programs, services and updates from a UREC staff member. Make sure to pre-register and wear comfortable walking shoes!
UREC Self-Guided Tours
9am-3:30pm
UREC welcomes anyone to stop by and explore throughout Employee Apperception Day during regular operational hours. No registration required!
Arboretum Guided Tour
1-2pm/JAD003
Tour - Springtime is the Arboretum Time. A guided tour of the Edith Carrier Arboretum to view the spring beauty. Wear comfortable shoes.
Mineral Museum Self-Guided Tour
10:30am-1pm
The Peter L. Via Collection, which has 378 individual specimens on display from 24 states and 39 countries, is one of four collections on display at the Mineral Museum, including a collection of fluorescent minerals. Overall, the museum holds more than 1,770 cataloged specimens from five different collections, including Via’s. It is home to the definitive Virginia Mineral Collection. No registration required!
Environmental Stewardship Self-Guided Tour
You are invited to tour selected campus sites that demonstrate environmental sustainability and support learning and applied research. Sustainability features at our tour locations include a green roof, green buildings, rain gardens, pollinator habitats, a naturalized landscape, and more. As you take the tour online or on campus, we challenge you to consider how environmental stewardship is and can be integrated into our lives. How might you think critically, and act as model stewards of the natural world? After taking the tour, look at the ISNW website for comprehensive inventories of sustainability courses and research opportunities at JMU as well as directions for requesting to use campus for a hands-on sustainability project. No registration required!

The College of Business Learning Complex is open to the public when the University is open. Take time to explore the spaces of both Hartman Hall and Showker Lobby during the self-guided tour. No registration required!
Bee Campus USA Tour

Bee Campus USA fosters ongoing dialogue to raise awareness of the role pollinators play in our communities and what each of us can do to provide them with healthy habitat. Join JMU experts as you tour the Bee Campus, starting with solar panels, moving to the meadow, the potential pollinator beds, the garden, then food forest and over to the beehives.
