The practice court at the Atlantic Union Bank Center will be open for general use with no registration required. Shoot some hoops in the AUBC's state-of-the-art practice facility! You can organize a game of HORSE with some friends, or just do some free throwing-- it's up to you.

Have you ever wanted to kick a field goal in Bridgeforth Stadium? You'll have the chance on Employee Appreciation Day. In addition, you can toss a football with friends on the field. You can enter through Gate C at the Godwin Transit Center.

It's all fun, all the time at Taylor Down Under this Employee Appreciation Day. Whether you want to play pool with a friend, play darts or foosball, sit down for a board game with a co-worker, or just relax in a comfy chair, everything TDU has to offer will be available from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

The Trees of James Madison University

Tree Walk Brochure

Take a walking tour of the diversity of the trees on the JMU campus! The goal of this tour is to highlight the diversity of trees on campus, and provide information about each tree species. Three walking trails are featured in the linked booklet, each varying in length and starting location on campus.

The Campus Trail begins in the Skyline area between the Bioscience and Physics / Chemistry buildings (3.26 miles).
The East Campus Trail starts in the Skyline area in front of Bioscience (1.06 miles).
The West Campus Trail starts in the Bluestone area on The Quad (1.93 miles).

Therapy Dogs International

10:30am-1:30pm | Festival Lawn

Need a dose of dog "therapy"? Dogs from the local chapter of Therapy Dogs International will be walking around Festival Lawn, providing unconditional love. Therapy dogs are trained to be gentle and friendly and to accept strangers hugging them or petting them. They are patient and unbothered. Therapy dogs are sometimes called "comfort dogs." They support a person's mental health by providing attention and comfort. Their sweet demeanors and unconditional love may have a therapeutic benefit to those who face difficult health challenges. Unlike service dogs, however, anyone can enjoy a therapy dog.

The Therapy Dogs and their owners will include: Jen Steele (Manager of Fixed Assets and Surplus Property) & Indie: 10:30-11:30; Liana Bayne-Lin (Libraries Administration) & Sage: 11:30-12:30; Lenny McDorman (JMU Retiree), Lacey, & Maggie: 12:30-1:30.
