Corporate VP and President, Mission Systems sector, Northrop Grumman Corporation

Kathy Warden is corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector.  Previously, Kathy was corporate vice president and president of the former Information Systems sector. 

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman in 2008, Kathy held several general management roles at General Dynamics.  

Before joining the National Security community in 2001, Kathy was a principal at an Internet start-up and spent nearly a decade with General Electric Company working in commercial industries. She began her GE career as a software developer and later held positions in systems engineering, corporate audit, strategy, and global product management. 

Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems from James Madison University and a master’s degree in business administration from George Washington University.   

She serves on the Boards of the JMU College of Business, Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. 

Kathy is married and has two children.

Kathy is a member of the College of Business Board of Advisors.
