CALM's Objectives are: 1. To work towards the total elimination of landmines throughout the world, including their manufacture, transfer, use and storage. 2. To encourage the ongoing work of demining of affected areas, including the development of better techniques for location and elimination of mines. 3. To encourage the strengthening of landmine victim support work, at the front-line medical and the rehabilitation levels. 4. To provide support to the International Campaign Against Landmines (ICBL). 5. To assist any group that has an objective similar to the above.
