Mission Statement:
MDC established the mine dog capacity in Tajikistan Mine Action Program (TMAP) in 2006. The Tajik trainees were invited to MDC Head Quarters in Kabul; they were trained and qualified as dog handlers and command members of MDC capacity. The mine dogs were handed over to the above mentioned trainees and sent back to Tajikistan after the accreditation.
