The MBCBL is committed to: * Sustaining the momentum for long-term action to rid the world of anti-personnel landmines and cluster munitions by raising awareness in Manitoba of the devastating humanitarian effects of landmines and cluster munitions. * Providing educational and other resources to teachers, students and other interested individuals or groups about the landmine and cluster munition issues. * Supporting the efforts of Mines Action Canada, the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, and the Cluster Munition Coalition. * Supporting local organizations in mine-affected countries involved with survivor assistance, mine risk education, or mine clearance.
