Mission Statement:
The Central America Land Mine Survivors project addresses physical, social, and economic problems of disabled persons. The project has four components: Integration of Community Based Rehabilitation into primary health programs Prosthetics and orthotics Employment and economic re-integration Health and disability information systems A partnership at QueenÕs between the Social Program Evaluation Group (SPEG) and the International Centre for the Advancement of Community Based Rehabilitation (ICACBR) is implementing the project from 1999-2003.
