07/19/17 - 08/04/17 UT/RELYANT UXO TECH LEVEL 1 COURSE:
Identified various types of explosives and discarded military munitions, including fuses by types and condition. Located and excavated buried UXO or discarded military munitions, or consolidated military munitions. Prepared firing systems for demilitarization operations. Operated Personal Decon Stations (PDS). Inspected potential explosive or hazardous materials. Transported explosive materials and/or UXO and discarded military munitions. Performed Fiducial and Differential GPS digital grid mapping. Removed and processed Range Related Debris. Certified Mine Action Level 1 Operator. Trained on and performed Electric, Non-Electric and Shock Tube firing systems and associated demolitions procedures. Performed deep recovery of UXO utilizing a mini excavator.
