UNITED STATES ARMY, 10TH MOUNTAIN DIVISION, Fort Drum, NY March 2015-September 2016

Brigade Engineer and Tasking Manager, Captain

Liaised with internal and external stakeholders for 18 months which culminated in the management of over 400 tasks and orders to over 2,200 people.

Managed meetings to ensure the organization, mobilization, and deployment of over 50 soldiers throughout Africa and Europe which developed the defense capabilities through education and training of host nation forces to promote regional security, stability, and prosperity.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF 10-11)

Platoon Leader, Second Lieutenant December 2010-August 2012

Ensured superior training, morale, and discipline of 34 soldiers as well as maintained accountability and maintenance of over $5 million worth of organizational equipment by providing mentorship, enforcing lessons learned, and held weekly quality assurance meetings.

Identified, marked, and reduced unexploded ordnances and improvised explosive devices.        Supervised internationally diverse teams across multiple language barriers (Romanian and Afghan) during 100 combat patrols on supply routes resulting in 7,000 kilometers of safe roads in Afghanistan.Planned, acquired resources for, and conducted trainings for the Afghan National Army on route clearance, explosive ordnance detection and weapons management.

Successfully combated and countered the influence of violent extremism in target communities through regular engagement, relationship building, and managing conflict within Zabul province, Afghanistan.
