Career History

 

K9 EDD Project Manager TDI South Sudan. Jan 2018 – Apr19

  • Liaising with UN Program management team ensuring all teams and associated tasks / goals are met, client is satisfied with service provided.
  • Responsible for TDI in country K9 security contract management, ensuring all teams are fully compliant and licensed at all times.
  • Sole responsibility for recruitment, selection and training of all new team members for TDI South Sudan Contract.
  • Managing a team of 40 staff, from K9 handlers, logistical staff and finance dept ensuring all relevant reports are carried out and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Liaison with k9 suppliers, UN inspectors and user units in order to promote company profile ,demonstrating K9 capabilities ,advantages and correct use of their assets.
  • Providing K9 subject matter knowledge to potential user units on additional tasks when required.

 

K9 / KM Ops Manager IDG (Security) Afghanistan Dec 2015 – June 2017

  • Responsible for IDG Global contract management, maintaining existing contracts and preparing for new contractual bids.

Civilian Search Dog Handler Iraq: February 2006 – July 2007

  • Overseeing the correct security procedures were adhered to whilst working on ECPs
  • Searched multiple gas platforms in various locations, ensuring the working environment was safe and hadn’t been compromised.
  • Provided a safe working environment for the local nationals and providing them with situational awareness training.

 

Feb 1984 – Feb 2006      HM Forces / British Army

  • Colour service with RAVC serving in operational and non-operational theatres world- wide. Finishing as SNCO .
  • Other applicable service related courses and career development.
  • K9 Instructor at the RAVC training depot, both in basic handling and specialized roles.
  • Completed 22 SAS long-range patrol course as a student leading to advisor too multinational hunter force elements on the use on dogs for both offensive and defensive measures.
