TMD-40anti-tank mineThis rectangular wooden antitank blast mine is very similar to the mines that the former Soviets were producing in the 1940s. The 3.2 kg of TNT is placed in the box in the form of seven 400-gram and four 100-gram packages of explosive. The two MUV fuzes are located toward the two ends of the mine case. Pressure is transmitted to the fuzes by two "seesaw" devices. Access to the fuze compartment is provided by sliding doors on both ends of the mine case. It is on these sliding doors that the carrying handles are mounted. The mines nomenclature is stenciled on its top. Finally, the TMD-40 pressure plate has beveled edges, which collapse under a 250.0-kg load.Length: 600mm Weight: 5kg Explosive: 3.2kg Range: 100m Explosive/filler type: TNTRussian Federation
