My Career Journey
Originally from Pennsylvania, I grew up near Scranton PA (Where my Office fans at??) I received a bachelors in Biochemistry from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and decided that I loved working on a college campus so I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Student Affairs Administration at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where I worked as a Residence Hall Director for University Housing and found my passion within the world of data and assessment. Graduated during the Pandemic, worked for a year at Radford University as Hall Director and fostered my passion for assessment by getting involved with residential curriculum and student learning outcomes. I began my JMU journey in July when I started my role as the Assistant Director for Assessment and Data Management. I hope to one day be a collegiate professor and teach classes about student learning, curricular approach and assessment.
