She/Her/Hers

I am a graduate student in the JMU College Student Personnel Administration program and work full-time in the Center for Global Engagement, as the Associate Director for International Student and Scholar Services. I am here to help students with resume and cover letter reviews.

My Career Journey

I went to Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where I earned my BA in Political Science and Spanish. I studied abroad for my junior year, which undoubtedly set me on a course towards international education. During my senior year, I worked in my school’s study abroad office and became involved with many visiting international groups. After graduation, I worked in study abroad for a few years and then began to work fully with international students and scholars. I have been in the field of international education for 12 years and absolutely love the dynamic and interesting people it allows me to meet on a daily basis. I am now pursuing my Masters in College Student Personnel Administration to better serve the international community at JMU!
