My Career Journey
My journey working in Higher Education started as a freshmen working as a student assistant in the office of Alumni Relations. I worked in the Alumni Relations office for four years while I completed my bachelors degree. After graduating I stayed on as the Graduate Assistant. After completing my Masters degree, while searching for a full time job, I began working in the office of Advancement. I was able to gain experience and knowledge in two very different departments on campus. A few months later I accepted a position as the Director of Marketing for a company worked there for four years. During that time I realized my passion was working in Higher Education. I returned to Higher Ed and worked in Admissions for four years and now in the University Career Center at JMU!

- I love the beach and just being outside!
- I traveled abroad to play Field Hockey. I enjoy playing Golf.
- I won a National Championship in college for Field Hockey.
- I've been to Alaska once and would love to go back.
- I have a husband and two little ones and everything I do with them is the best!
