Office Hours

Before attending James Madison University, I earned my B.S. in Environmental Science from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. As an undergraduate, I conducted research on the diversification of maple species for syrup production, influences on the presence of invasive plant species in old-growth forests, and microclimate gradients in the High Knob region of Virginia. I am currently working with Dr. Heather Griscom to develop a habitat model for American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) in central and southwestern Virginia to assist land managers in its conservation.
