I joined the graduate program at JMU in the fall of 2015 under the advisement of Dr. Heather Griscom. I previously attended Eastern Connecticut State University where I received a degree in biology with a minor in anthropology. My interest in agriculture led me to conduct my thesis research on the effect of different cattle management strategies on soil carbon. This research is particularly relevant in the Shenandoah Valley, and I hope my results could benefit local farmers.
