Ana Tobin completed an M.F.A. in Graphic Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2021, with her thesis titled, "Neuro Divergent: an exploration of what it feels like to have different learning disabilities and how the methods used by those with learning disabilities can be used by all." Her thesis was a demonstration of the accessible nature of experiential graphic design.

Prior to her work at MICA, Ana completed a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a B.S. in Advertising at Boston University, where she created nine books without covers that were meant to give a sense of a person without seeing them. Ana had teaching internships at MICA in Web Design, Signs Exhibits Spaces, Immersive Experience Lab, and Typography II. Tobin’s professional design work includes working for the American Health Lawyers Association, Top Shelf Design, Healykohler Design and most recently, Ana has worked as a freelance designer.

She has worked with clients such as Adobe, Intel, The Smithsonian, the National Park Service, the World Bank and more. She has won more than 30 design awards throughout her career as a designer. Ana is a multimedia designer and educator with a broad range of specialties within the design world.
