University Events staff offers assistance to event representatives planning official college, department or campus-wide events. We provide an array of services from providing advice on a single event aspect to producing entire events, including: providing event consulting and management services to campus units, producing university events and other university-wide celebrations, and planning and facilitating university presidential and board of visitors events.

Step 1: Contact us! Planning an official JMU event can feel daunting, especially if it is your first time. Rest assured we will help walk you through all the necessary protocol.

Step 2: Fill out the Event Request Form and a member of University Events will contact you!

Step 3: Complete the remaining pre-event tasks outlined on the Event Protocol and Responsibilities page.

Step 4: Attend your event!

Step 5: Help improve future events by completing the event evaluation form.
