 The Registration Process

Alternative Winter, Spring, and May breaks (AJB, ASB, AMB) use an online registration link and lottery system. An online link will be on our homepage when registration is live. When you register online, your name goes into a database that generates a randomized order. You will then come to a meeting to take your turn in the lottery.

The night of the lottery we share a little more detailed information about the breaks and program and answer any break-specific questions. When you hear your name called you may select any of the breaks that still have available spaces. You will need bring your first payment amount and your JAC. Also, if you have class at the time of a lottery, you will be able to send a proxy (the process will be emailed to you the day of the lottery).

The Alternative Break for New Dukes also uses the online registration process using the online link on our homepage when registration is live. However, it is a first-come first-served online registration.

For Weekend Breaks, registration is first-come first-served in the Community Service-Learning office (Student Success Center 2100).
