How Do I Sign Up For A Break?

A link will be on our homepage when registration for each break is live. When you register online, it is a first-come-first-served process. To complete your registration and secure your spot on the break, you MUST make a payment following the instructions at the end of the online registration.
Costs include leadership, education, travel, housing, and meals. The cost does not include meals during travel, souvenirs, and any costs associate with the group's community exploration day. All week-long breakers participate in fundraising to help reduce the cost of the break. Need-based scholarships are also available. Applications are included in each break's online registration form. Fall Break's (AFB) online registration link goes live early September.
Spring Break's (ASB) online registration link goes live early November.
DMAD's (Dukes Making a Difference) online registration link goes live late April. **When you register, you will need to have your student ID number handy. Even if you haven't received your JAC yet, you have access to your ID number.
To locate your ID number:
Log into MyMadison at https://mymadison.jmu.edu. Click on the Applicant tab. In the middle of the window under "Personal Information," you will see your 9 digit student ID number.
