Break Description

natural-bridges-VA.pngThe 215-foot tall limestone gorge carved by the Cedar Creek gives Natural Bridge State Park its name, but it’s not the only awe-inspiring view in Virginia’s newest state park! Forests, meadows, mountains, and the James River Valley attract countless visitors to the park each year. The Natural Bridge was once a sacred site of the Monacan tribe, who believed it to be a site of victory over pursuing the Powhatans years before Europeans settled in Virginia. Our service could include putting in campsites, including fire rings and tent pads, or putting in a new section of trail. We’ll stay in a park bunkhouse that is not accessible to those who use wheelchairs. Spend a weekend outdoors serving and enjoying one of local natural treasures.
