Break Description

Come join us for a one-of-a-kind service trip to New Orleans, Louisiana! This service trip’s main focus is to assist the restoration of communities that have been and still are affected by Hurricane Katrina. HandsOn New Orleans is a nonprofit organization that hosts people and groups from around the country to help and assist the New Orleans’s community by organizing and creating high-impact project. Their overall mission is to “engage, empower, and transform our community through volunteer service by connecting every passion with its purpose.”

This service break is one that will allow you to explore New Orleans, a city rich with history and tradition. It will also allow you to get to know the people and other foundations working hard to restore and uplift the surrounding communities. We will be adhering to a vegetarian diet throughout the week and enjoying the rich culture of New Orleans with a week of service and compassion.
