Focus on: Community Wellness

¡Vamanos!  Come explore the little farming town of Chacraseca, just twenty minutes outside of the beautiful city of Leon on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua.  Most of the 8,000 residents of Chacraseca are subsistence farmers, averaging less than $2 per day per family in income.  The focus of our trip is to help build a house for a local family.  In Chacraseca, a house is more than a house, it is a chance for a better life.  We will also be practicing a "simple living" philosophy which means we’ll only be taking one backpack (per person) of our own belongings so that we can pack our suitcases with donations and other supplies.
