Break Description

Come get your hands dirty as we restore and protect biodiversity at The Nature Conservancy in Bristol Florida. Located in one of the world’s rarest habitats, Apalachicola Bluffs and Ravine Preserve is committed to restoring ecosystem health and diversity through increased ground cover. For 7 days we will be immersed in nature as we help plant wiregrass plugs, contributing the Conservancy’s mission and learning about the complex system of environmental sustainability.

This week-long adventure of service-learning and growth will include midnight hikes, starry nights, and simple living, free from the distractions of everyday life. So leave behind your hectic schedule and join us as we connect with nature and ourselves!

Each night we will gather around a bonfire and reflect on our day’s work. As a group we will challenge each other to grow as active citizens; learning, working hard, having fun and contributing to a national movement of education and service in the ASB community.
